The Aloalo Lei


  1. Ch 30, turn slst in each ch. 
  2. Ch 180 (or to desired length plus 30 more), turn slst in next 30 ch.  “Ch5, slst in second to closet ch to hook, sc in next ch-sp, hdc in next ch-sp,  dc in last ch-sp, slap in next 6 of the original base ch.”  Repeat 3 times.
  3. “Sc, ch1, 2dc, ch2.” In each ch-sp.  Repeat until you meet back at first slip sts.  
  4. Using Hoku yarn, “Sc into base chain, ch5.” Repeat across.  Weave in the ends.  Aloha.
