The Spiral Lei

1. Ch30, turn slst into each ch.
2. Ch170, turn slst into next 30 chains.  Then, 4dc into each chain until you meet back up with the beginning slip stitches.  Switch colors.
3. Slst into the first dc, "ch3, sk1dc, slst in the next dc." Repeat until the end of time or until all the dc are gone...whichever comes first.  Then weave in ends.  Aloha.
